It’s that time of year again when I randomly start re-watching/reading Jojo’s Bizarre adventure.
As always I expect no one to ever love it like I do, especially considering that the following is the shortest, and simplest possible plot summary:
Jotaro (in the hat) is fighting Dio (in the mullet) for reasons ignored because they are dumb, using his psychic power of crushing stuff. Unlike Professor Xavier in the x-men though, this psychic power can be seen (but not by normal people) as a giant terrifying man who can only communicate by yelling “Oraoraora” at people. Dio has a similar power, but he can also stop time for (paradoxically) five seconds. He’s also a vampire. He also gets every evil line ever said ever. His vaguely-established-but-obviously-evil plans start going awry however when it turns out Jotaro can move in the frozen time. Also, Polnareff.
That’s the not-complicated version. It’s very convoluted. And I love it despite it’s terrible voice acting and horrible soundtrack because Damn it, it’s a really cool idea, animated brilliantly and with hilariously over-the top characters— The best kind of anime.

A story so nonsensical that the author started ageing in reverse.
